Brad Furr Cancels Race Northern Sprint Tour 2003 Speedweek

PLEASANTON, CA (July 14, 2003) –Brad Furr announced today that he will be forced to cancel the team’s plans to race the 2003 Northwest Speedweek. This is a result of an eye injury Brad received Saturday night while racing in Southern California at the Santa Maria Speedway.
During Saturday’s Golden State race, Brad got a small rock in his eye and spend about six hours in the emergency room after the race. He will fully recover. However, it is best not to race for the next five days while his eye heals.
