Brad Furr Opens Big O Tire Store

SAN JOSE, CA (March 5, 2004) – Brad Furr, the driver of the Brad Furr Racing Eagle/Ott Outlaw sprint car announced today the successful opening of his new Big O Tires store located in San Jose, California. Big O Tires, with over 500 sites in the United States, is the largest franchiser of tire stores in the U.S.

After returning home from several years of traveling full-time with the World of Outlaws and racing in Australia during the winter, Brad began exploring franchise business opportunities in the San Francisco Bay Area. After several months of research, Brad decided the Big O Tires program was the one he wanted to pursue. Brad bought an existing independent tire company in San Jose with the intention of converting it to a Big O Tire Co. – the first Big O Tire store in San Jose. The last several months have been dedicated to that process, including renovation of the purchased property.

The conversion and renovation are complete and the Grand Opening is underway. The Grand Opening continues through the weekend of March 20th and grand opening events include free set of tires and televisions, free trips, free food, kids jump house and activities, on-site radio personalities, race cars, and most importantly, sales on tires and wheels. The store is located at 1509 Parkmoor in San Jose, CA. This is the corner of Parkmoor and Meridian and just off the Parkmoor/Meridian exist off of I280 near downtown.
