Crew Chief: Kenny Thorp (Tracy, CA)

Kenny has been working with Brad Furr Racing since the 2004 season and after Mike Harper moved to North Carolina at the end of the 2006 race season to work in NASCAR, Kenny was appointed Crew Chief. Kenny has been around sprint cars for over 20 years and has worked with racers Any Hillenburg, Jeff Mauldin and Bud Smith at PBS and Kenny has even driven sprint cars in his career. Kenny makes his home in Tracy, California and enjoys his Harley in his spare time.

Crew Member: Rob Barci (Livermore, CA)

Robert Barci Jr. of Livermore recently joined Brad Furr racing team. Rob has done a variety of things in the sprint car racing world including racing a dirt super modified in 1983 around Norcal, officiating on and off since the 80’s until the closing of the dirt track in the late 90’s.

Before joining Brad Furr racing, Rob was a crew member of the 81 MPHG Promotions USAC sprint series owned by Dallas Mulvaney led by Crew Chief Jimmy Jones, drivers Robert Ballou and Justin Marvel . Rob is thrilled to be part of the Brad Furr Racing team in the new KING of the WEST SPRINTS.

Rob’s family were officials for the San Jose Speedway pavement track in the 70’s until closing in 1978, and briefly through the 80s at the dirt track when they retired.
